HQ SOS - Electives (UG - Schedule of Studies)
STEPS
1) Login to HQ
2) Navigate to Program Inventory -> Schedule of Studies
3) Elective groups are accessible using the blue buttons on the top right
4) Individual electives are accessed by clicking view on a program
5) Clicking edit on a Program allows you to edit electives
6) When List is selected, courses below that list can be tagged as Elective, Designated Elective, Designated GNED or Elective GNED
7) After the tag is selected, you can select a course from HQ to the right of the tag
8) When group is selected, groups will appear with the possible selections of: Shared Group, Electives, GNED
9) These group entities are controlled from 3) mentioned above (Blue buttons on top right of HQ SOS home screen)
10) Clicking Shared Electives allows you to create groups of shared electives used between programs
11) Click Edit to edit a Shared Electives' courses
12) Enter Name, Code and Courses for that Shared Elective Group
13) Click Update
14) Clicking GNED allows you to manage GNED electives used for each academic year
15) Click Edit to edit a GNED courses for that year
16) Enter Code and Courses for the GNED group of that year
17) Click Update
18) Clicking Breadth allows you to manage Breadth electives used for each academic year
19) Click Edit to edit a Breadth courses for that year
20) Enter Code and Courses for the Breadth group of that year
21) Click Update
