Search Functionality and Options

The course search tool allows for filtering by the Viewer on the front-end by Areas of Interest, Start Date and currently available registration through a new "Register Now" filter.

Areas of Interest

• Comes from HQ Settings - Managed by (Blackcat)

Start Date

• Comes from CCOA Module - Taking the start date fields populated managed by (CCOA User Group)

Register Now

• Filters all courses by registration availability - Determined from the Daily Course Section Upload

1. Program or Course Name

The course list is pulled from HQ based on trigger in the Daily Course Extract (DCE). In the column STUDENT_MEETING_TIME_DESC = Internet is used to identify the course as Online in this column

2. Code

The code is pulled from HQ Course Inventory.

3. Length 

The length is pulled from HQ CE Proposed Availability if it is populated. If not, it will show TBD.

4. Location

Location is pulled from HQ based on trigger in the Daily Course Extract (DCE). The column CAMPUS_DESC is used to display all possible locations.

It will add "Online" as a location if the column STUDENT_MEETING_TIME_DESC = Internet.

Each category will now include:

• Online
• Lakeshore Campus
• North Campus
• Off Campus
• Transportation Training Centre
