Humber College is committed to transforming the student and employee experience by creating a campus that is healthy, inclusive and fosters a highly positive employee experience.
In our 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, we have identified several initiatives that contribute to achieving this commitment.
Tuition assistance is available to employees under the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) where Humber provides financial assistance for certificate, diploma, degree, doctoral programs and/or professional association courses taken at an accredited post-secondary institution or professional associations.
Tuition assistance is available to employees looking to advance their education through discipline-specific post-secondary degrees, Masters degrees or Doctoral degrees at an accredited postsecondary institution. Funding under this program is for a maximum of four (4) years for each individual program up to a maximum of five thousand dollars ($5,000) per year.
We recognize that our support staff help maintain our services and operations and in many cases they are in direct contact with students, clients and the public. Humber supports their development by providing a minimum of three (3) days training specifically developed for support staff.
The OE Value Proposition: We build organizational capacity through collaboration with our clients to deliver expertise and advice that focuses on strengthening our learning organization and fostering an inclusive work culture. By attracting, developing and retaining the best talent we support Humber’s business strategy and enable organizational excellence.
