Description / Overview

Whenever you create something for others, the two guiding considerations of course design are: purpose and audience. Later in this course you will learn how to write effective Learning Outcomes, which form your purpose. But for now, you will look at your audience: who are your learners? And what should you do with the answer to this question?

Rationale

By understanding who you are designing for and why that matters, you will develop materials that are more learner-centered and inclusive to learners from different backgrounds, learners with and without disabilities, learners of multiple intelligences, and learners who are still gaining digital literacy and online learning skills.
