Program Overview

The Construction Project Management certificate program is a Project Management Institute (PMI)® registered program with all courses qualifying for 42 Professional Development Units (PDU's)/contact hours with PMI®.

With the growth of professional project management techniques, it is necessary for construction professionals to update their skills and effectively contribute to continuing the growth of the construction industry in North America. The goal of our program is to provide you with the necessary skills, knowledge and competencies to manage all types of construction projects of varying sizes. Classes are facilitated by industry professionals with an extensive background in the field.

This program is for you if you are a professional working in the field of project management, or if you are aiming to advance in the field of construction. You may be working for a developer, contractor, site manager, supervisor of construction works, estimator or you may be performing the role of resident consultant representative or contract administrator.

This certificate will assist you to advance in your profession by providing the necessary tools and recognized credentials. This certificate covers a broad range of subjects which will prepare you to manage projects for success.

Delivery Mode

All Faculty of Applied Sciences Technology Continuous Professional Learning courses in this program are being offered in an online virtual classroom unless otherwise specified (for example lab required components). 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Those who successfully complete the program are eligible to receive a certificate of accomplishment from Humber College. If you are not able to complete the entire program, you may be eligible to receive a micro-credential based on successful completion of certain courses.  If you are looking for more information, please see our contact information below. You are required to register for each individual course included in a CE program. You can register for a course by selecting it and following the instructions in the “How to Register” box.

Fees

Each CE program is comprised of a series of courses which may all have different fees. You are required to register for each course individually and pay the associated fees. Once you select the course, the fee is displayed in the “How to Register” box.
