Message from Humber President Chris Whitaker
As many within the Humber community are aware, after more than 15 years in operation, the Orangeville Campus will be closing in June 2021.
Orangeville students, employees and partners are all important members of the Humber community. We care deeply about all of them, and we will make every effort to support each individual over the coming months. A heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone for their hard work to make Orangeville a great place to learn and work.
We will continue to support learners in Orangeville through online learning and corporate training, and partner with local school boards to deliver dual credit programming. Humber students can continue to provide assistance to the Orangeville community through work-integrated learning opportunities including applied research projects, internships, and work placements. To discuss a potential opportunity, please contact Joe Andrews at joe.andrews@humber.ca.
We know that this is a bittersweet time for the Humber Orangeville community, especially as its members and their families adjust to working, learning and living during the global pandemic. We are confident that everyone at Humber will continue to support one another as we move forward and face the challenges of the day, head-on. Thank you again to all members of the Orangeville community for your commitment and contributions.
Chris Whitaker
President, CEO Humber I.T.A.L.
