Time for your You to shine - Introducing “The You You Knew Was In You,” Humber’s Bold New Brand Campaign
Dear Humber community,
At Humber Polytechnic, we believe in the power of potential. Today, I’m excited to share the launch of our new brand campaign – “The You You Knew Was in You” – a bold initiative designed to empower our students to realize their full capabilities and thrive in their chosen paths.
This campaign is more than just a message; it’s a reflection of Humber’s unwavering commitment to building brilliance, challenging limitations, and preparing students for real-world success. It’s about spotlighting how Humber helps students find their “edge.” We understand that education is more than about what you learn. It is about who you become and realizing your “you.” Humber is here to help each student to discover and develop the brilliance that’s already within them and all the aspects of yourself that are waiting to shine.
The campaign is an emotionally compelling rallying cry intended to cut through the “sea-of-sameness" in post-secondary marketing. The creative features tableaus of students seeing their future selves, under spotlights, set against a black background, showcasing what’s possible through a Humber education. The main video is set to an original song, performed by Humber students and alumni who appear across the campaign.
With hands-on learning, faculty support, and customized learning experiences, Humber provides the ideal environment to help students build confidence and take the next step toward their future. The success of our graduates speaks for itself. Humber consistently ranks as the top institution in the GTA for employer satisfaction of recent graduates according to the annual Colleges Ontario Key Performance Indicators survey which measures employer satisfaction of recent graduates.
Humber has always been a place where students find their edge, and you will see that reflected in the campaign. I encourage you to embrace this campaign, celebrate your own potential, and support those around you in discovering theirs. Together, we are shaping the future of education, employability, and our communities, and preparing all of us to have real-world impact while being ready to push the limits of Canada’s most pressing problems.
