Ministry Title: Funeral Transfer Service Sales Representative
Ontario College Certificate
Program Code: 08001
Campus: Online
Length: 2 semesters
Humber’s Transfer Service Sales Representative certificate program (TSSR) prepares students for a career serving families who wish to have minimal services for their deceased loved ones. This is the only Transfer Service Sales Representative program in Ontario, and all courses are online.
Courses are designed to meet the core competencies identified by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario for this personal license class. You will learn all aspects of the scope of practice for a TSSR.
This program is not available to international students.
The Bereavement Authority of Ontario, the provincial regulator, states that students of the program will complete a three-month paid before they can be licensed. It is strongly advised that interested applicants secure a field experience before applying for studies, as some funeral establishments do not employ transfer service sales representatives, making the work placement potentially difficult to find.
