The e-Commerce Performance and Optimization Ontario Graduate Certificate program prepares graduates to improve the profitability, efficiency, and user experience of digital storefronts in today’s rapidly evolving online marketplace. This hands-on, one-year program equips students with the practical tools needed to boost conversion rates, streamline e-commerce operations, and support data-informed decision-making across the customer journey.
Throughout the program, students will learn how to apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies, conduct user experience (UX) testing and A/B experimentation, and implement techniques to improve inventory management and digital operations. They’ll also explore how to measure and refine digital marketing performance, interpret customer data to inform growth strategies, and ensure privacy and compliance within e-commerce platforms.
Designed for professionals and graduates looking to make an immediate impact in online business environments, this program delivers the skills required to enhance performance across diverse digital retail contexts, from launching a new venture or optimizing an existing brand.
This course provides students with an opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained in the e-Commerce Performance and Optimization program in a specific workplace setting. With the instructor's support, students are required to find a suitable organization to host a 160-hour (four-week), paid or unpaid work placement. Students will be required to document both the employment experience and their knowledge of business applications and theories through a series of assignments.

Mature Applicants
Diplomas and Certificates
An applicant is considered a mature applicant if they have not completed secondary school or other postsecondary school, and will be 19 or older as of the first day of classes. Humber will invite you for testing to demonstrate that you meet all listed course requirements.
Degrees
An applicant is considered a mature applicant if they have not completed secondary school or attended postsecondary studies, and will be 21 or older as of the first day of classes. Mature applicants for degree programs will be required to meet course requirements at the U/M level or equivalent.
College Transfer Applicants
Diplomas and Certificates
An applicant is considered a college transfer applicant if they have completed some or all of a college-level credential. Humber may use a combination of secondary school and/or college courses and grades to determine program eligibility.
Degrees
An applicant is considered a college transfer applicant if they have completed some or all of a college-level credential. Humber may use a combination of secondary school and/or college courses and grades to determine program eligibility. Applicants must have an overall minimum grade point average (GPA) of 65 per cent in the program. Applicants are required to disclose and provide academic transcripts for all course work completed at the postsecondary level.
University Transfer Applicants

International Credit Evaluation
Canadian citizens or permanent residents with international education are required to provide a credential evaluation. Note, for international High school education course by course evaluations, ICAS must be used. For international post-secondary education, a WES evaluation must be provided. In situations where you expect to apply for transfer credit, it is recommended that a course by course WES evaluation is completed.
