Campus: North, Lakeshore
Length: 2 semesters
Do you want to earn a college diploma but do not know where to start or how to translate your interests into a career? If so, Humber’s General Arts and Science – College Transfer certificate program is right for you!
This program will help you:
- determine what career best fits your personality, strengths and interests
- build important academic and professional skills
- gain admission to your chosen college program
- maximize your transfer credits along the way
In this program, you will take foundational courses to build the writing, math and critical thinking skills required for your success at Humber College. If you are unsure of your future career and want to explore your options and opportunities, our first semester Applied Psychology for Student Success course will highlight a variety of careers that you may want to pursue.
You will also have the opportunity to experience online learning, as some of our courses blend classroom and online involvement. With small class sizes, engaged professors and individual academic advising, you will get the solid foundation and the support you need to take the next step of your educational path.
The curriculum in the first semester of this program is shared with the General Arts and Science - University Transfer certificate program. After completing the first semester in either program, you can elect to continue your studies in the General Arts and Science University Transfer diploma program if your goal is degree-level studies at Humber or with one of our university partners. Both of these programs are tailored to your needs and will maximize your future pathways options.
