Web Design and Development

Certificate of Achievement

Program Code: WD911

Campus: Downtown (IGS), North

Length: 2 semesters

If you describe yourself as a creative, resourceful and detail-oriented problem solver, then Humber's Web Design and Development certificate program is for you. Learn to analyze problems and apply best practices to plan, design and build websites and web applications. You will use the most up-to-date techniques and technology to create sites and apps from the ground up. You will also learn to tackle technical challenges by developing strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. By the end of the program, you will be able to showcase the solutions you've created in a captivating portfolio website.

Our project-based approach leads students through the entire process of creating websites and web applications, from building static websites utilizing the most current versions of industry-standard tools to programming dynamic, data-driven websites. Each course is taught with a focus on following established industry standards that include designing mobile-ready, accessible, future-proof websites and apps.

Our instructors are industry professionals who are passionate about the web and related media. They will guide you through the program with a practical, hands-on style of teaching and provide opportunities to network with employers and alumni who will help you to build valuable contacts and shape your future career.
