What if I Fail the Assessment?

You must register for a remediation day, which includes a retake of the assessment. An additional fee will apply for the remediation day.

If you are unsuccessful in the Simulation Session assessment, you must participate in a remediation day. The remediation day is a full day and comprises two parts. The remediation day session will start with a reviewed session. After the review session, you will re-take the assessment. You must achieve a minimum passing score of 75 in order to pass the Simulation Session.

Remediation Day

Remediation Days are booked/scheduled once per month, given:

(a) the extremely low failure rate of Sim sessions, and

(b) the participative nature of Sim Remediation Days requires a minimum number of learners.

Therefore, a few weeks (and sections) must transpire in order to allow for sufficient learners to be booked.

Please refer to the program website to register for Remediation Day.

Remediation Day Preparation

  1. Exam Reports
You can download your exam report(s) and prepare a study plan that aligns with your exam report(s), focusing on areas of improvement. This is a very important step, as it allows for a focused review of the relevant eLearning components, as well as draft questions for your facilitator. Watch this video to learn more about How to Access Your Exam Report.
  2. Sim Materials and eLearning Courses
You should aim for a comprehensive review of all the Sim materials as well as the relevant eLearning course(s) and modules.
  3. Content Support Desk
Prior to your Remediation Day, you can contact Content Support Desk facilitators to assist you with content questions:
