Join us for a roundtable discussion with Lindsay Walker, Associate Director of the Office of Sustainability. Bring your research ideas and/or questions and learn the many ways to make your research project sustainable!
Lindsay Walker is the Associate Director of Sustainability at Humber College and has overseen the college’s efforts of campus sustainability for 10 years. She leads the strategy to embed principles of sustainability and the interconnectedness of all things into all the College’s roles as a place of teaching and learning, and as a member of the local and global community and environment. She participates in local, provincial and national working groups to develop tools and share practices to support and encourage greater understanding and action of a sustainability mindset in academia and on campuses. Lindsay holds a bachelor degree from McGill in Civil Engineering and a Masters degree from Ryerson in Environmental Applied Science and Management. Lindsay lives in Toronto with her husband and two young children.
