Workshop Details:

From Surviving to Thriving: Building your Resilience is a one-hour workshop aimed to support you shift from surviving your post-secondary experience to actually thriving, by helping you boost your resilience and plan for stressful situations. Developing a plan to get through potentially stressful situations can have a positive impact on both your personal and academic life.

First 20 students to register and attend the workshop will receive a $20 gift card. Register for the workshop here:

This workshop will explore:

  • Stressors and responses to stress
  • Options and strategies to address challenges
  • Choosing healthier strategies
  • Building a network of support

Well-being Activity Sheet Contest (enter to win up to $250)

Part 1 - Self-guided practice: Download a Well-being Activity Sheet to reflect on your stressors and coping strategies and discover what resilience strategies you currently practice. 


  • Identifying stressors
  • Exploring your responses to stress  
  • Choosing healthier strategies

Part 2 - Attend a 1:1 Session: Complete at least one Well-being Activity Sheet and connect with a Peer Wellness Coach for further reflection and support before March 12.

Contest Rules:

  • Complete 1 activity sheet and upload to be entered for $100 prize draw
  • Complete 1 activity sheet and have a 1:1 session to be entered for $250 prize draw
  • Contest runs from February 12 to March 12
  • Winners announced on March 15 via @lifeathumber Instagram Page
