In this session, we will overview the key mindsets presented in the Humber Learning Outcomes (HLO) framework: Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), Sustainability and Systems Thinking. We will define these concepts and discuss how the core values of Humber interconnect with each other and align with Indigenous Ways of Being, Knowing and Doing. We will also offer practical applications and tools such as the impact gap canvas, the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Humber’s Sustainability Plan, which help faculty operationalize these mindsets to tackle real-world problems, promote inclusive teaching approaches, and foster belonging in the Humber classroom and beyond.
