The latest Radio Humber Hall of Fame inductees

The Radio Humber Hall of Fame is growing by seven.

Adam Wylde, Amber Payie, Brad Barker, Maurie Sherman, Mora Austin and Ryan Doyle will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a ceremony at North Campus on March 24.

Jerry Chomyn, a former radio broadcaster, is receiving the Builder’s Award. Chomyn, who started 96.9 Radio Humber, was director of broadcast media at Humber from 1988 to 2010. He currently heads the media studies program at University of Guelph Humber.

Brad Barker

Maurie Sherman

A.K.A. Damnit Maurie on KISS 92.5. Producer and entertainment reporter for the Roz and Mocha Show.

Mora Austin

Vice president of Larche Communications, which owns radio stations KICX 91.7 and 106 and 92.3 and 104.1 The Dock.

Ryan Doyle

Host of The Rush with Ryan Doyle and Jay Michaels on Newstalk 1010.

The 2017 recipients join an esteemed Hall of Fame class, which includes George Stroumboulopoulos, Roz Weston and Ashley Greco.
