The annual 2019 Interior Design Thesis Show was held at Haworth Showroom in Toronto. The thesis projects were created and presented by the final-year students of the Bachelor of Interior Design program. Students worked with a variety of interior design and architectural firms and showcased their designs to those clients upon completion.

“The interior design program prepared me for life after graduation. It’s a really good mix of hands-on and conceptual design and that’s why I chose Humber specifically,” says Alec Baldesarra, a student of the program.

As part of the thesis projects and the showcase, students had the opportunity to present their skills and knowledge to potential employers and also establish connections with professionals in the field.

“We see our students going to broader range of firms year-after-year and we’re really happy to see that a lot of students are working in the firms where they do their work placement,” says Professor Zaiba Mian.

Friends, family, community members and industry experts attended the event.
