C.J Miles visits the Raptors Basketball Academy at Humber

Toronto Raptors forward C.J. Miles visits the Raptor Basketball Academy at Humber.

More than 240 kids spent the week in Humber’s Gymnasium for the annual Raptors Basketball Academy. The week-long camp is in its 13th year and incorporated visits from players including Pascal Siakam and C.J. Miles.

The Raptors Basketball Academy offers youth training modules on fundamental skills, game play and life skills with Raptors basketball development coaches and other special guests throughout the week.

Participants were guided through some on-court drills with the players, who also posed for photographs and engaged in a Q-and-A session. They also receive a jersey and shorts, limited edition basketball, a team photo, an official certificate of participation, and an evaluation by coaches.

Humber is also home to Nature Camps at the Humber Arboretum and the Skills Ontario Summer Camp program.
