Students from the Bachelor of Music program and the Bachelor of Film and Media program collaborated on a video compilation of O Canada, sung in tribute to frontline and health-care workers.
The project was borne of the students' desire to thank all the frontline workers for their work during COVID-19, so they got together to create the piece.
“The project is a win on so many levels,” said Mike Downes, Humber Music program coordinator.
It has a second purpose; the collaboration allowed students to get work placement hours – and much-needed honourariums.
The video was created by the entire 18 students in the Bachelor of Music program and four graduating Film and Media Production students.
