Graduates of Humber's Biotechnology diploma may complete 2 semesters at IT Sligo to complete the BSc in Biomedical Science (Level 7). Typically, semesters in IT Sligo operate Sept-Dec and Jan-May. Therefore, the end-to-end period of full-time study for Humber students who pass all examinations at IT Sligo would be approximately 9 months. Graduates of the BSc in Biomedical Sciences (Level 7) can achieve a BSc (Hon.) in Medical Biotechnology (Level 8) through one further year (2 semesters) of full-time study at IT Sligo. Graduates of the BSc (Hon.) in Medical Biotechnology can then achieve a MSc in Bioprocessing Science (Level 9) Masters' Degree via one additional year (Sept-Aug) of full-time study at IT Sligo. Students should contact IT Sligo in advance to ensure that full details of alignment studies are reviewed before they make final decisions re: submitting applications for admission. A further €500 tuition fee reduction (reducing tuition to €8,000 – c. CAD$12,000) is available to students who accept their offer and pay a €1,000 refundable deposit within 90 days of the date shown on their acceptance letter. IT Sligo is also an approved overseas institution with OSAP. OSAP eligible students can bring their OSAP Aid with them when studying at IT Sligo. |
