Your World. Your Story.

Laurentian University is located on the traditional lands of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek. Our natural setting is minutes from the downtown area and comprises more than 765 acres of land that adjoin the vast Lake Laurentian Conservation Area. Nature is at the core of the University’s identity, and learning here, in this awe-inspiring natural environment, is a true pleasure for the senses. Attended by nearly 9,000 students in over 170 programs, Laurentian is moderate in size, and features amenities within close proximity. We are an institution of choice with the highest employment rate of Ontario Universities at 94% after six months and 97% after 2 years. We are also ranked #1 in credit transferability. At Laurentian, your hard-earned college credits will be evaluated to determine compatibility with the learning outcomes of your new program. Our agreements are designed to provide better student mobility among our partners through formal recognition of credits/programs. For students who have successfully completed a two or three-year diploma at Humber, Laurentian has many pathway agreements. If there is not a pathway agreement for your program, Laurentian continues to offer admission with advanced standing with special considerations based on grades and program affinity. Laurentian University is also a leader in online and distance education. We offer the largest selection of bilingual (English and French) distance education programs in Canada. Our selection of programs includes complete 3- and 4-year Bachelor of Arts programs in areas like Psychology, Sociology, Gerontology and more. We also offer an Online Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Science. Join our approximately 1700 students studying through our Laurentian Online department. If you have questions, join our information session or email us at Si vous avez des questions, envoyez-nous un courriel à
