Architectural Technology (03371)

OCAD University recognizes the Humber College Architectural Technology Advanced Diploma (3 year) Program as the academic basis for admission with upper year entry to the Environmental Design (BDes)Program.

Admission Requirement

A Grade Point Average of 75% is required. A minimum average of 75% in each of Humber's WRIT 120 and WRIT 220 is required.

Applicants to OCAD U must have graduated from Humber's Architectural Technology program no later than June for September admission.  Students are strongly encouraged to seek advising at OCAD U before registering for courses to ensure degree requirements are met.

All applications for admission must be made through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC).  Humber graduates applying for admission must use the program code "HEA" (for Environmental Design) from the Articulation Agreement category on the OUAC application.

Interior Decorating (31511)

OCAD University recognizes the Humber College Interior Decorating Diploma (2 year) program as the academic basis for admission to upper year entry of the Environmental Design (BDes) program.

Admission Requirement

A Grade Point Average of 75% is required for upper year entry.

Applicants to OCAD must have graduated from the Humber diploma program no later than June for September admission.  All applications for admission must be made through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC).  Articulating students are strongly encouraged to seek advising at OCAD before registering for courses to ensure degree requirements will be met.

Students of the Interior Design specialization will need to take an additional 1.0 credit of Liberal Arts and Sciences electives in the Spring/Summer terms between years of study.
