Program Name

Humber and Queen Margaret University (QMU) in Edinburgh have entered into an agreement that allows Humber graduates from both the Event Management, and Arts Administration and Cultural Management Graduate Certificates to receive advanced standing into QMU's MA Arts Festival and Cultural Management.  A previous undergraduate degree is required in order to be eligible for this pathway. 

Graduates will be awarded 40 credits of Recognition of Prior Learning and will need to complete 80 credits of taught modules plus the 60 credit dissertation or project.  

Applications may be made online with the following information:

  • full transcript of results at Humber
  • at least one academic reference

Admission to the academic programs listed is at the sole discretion of the partner post-secondary institution. Please contact the institution for detailed admission requirements.

Humber and Queen Margaret University (QMU) in Edinburgh have entered into an agreement that allows Humber Public Relations Graduate Certificate graduates to receive advanced standing into QMU's Master of Science in Strategic Communication and Public Relations.  A previous undergraduate degree is required in order to be eligible for this pathway. 

Graduates will be awarded 40 credits of Recognition of Prior Learning and will need to complete 80 credits of taught modules plus the 60 credit dissertation or project.

Students must take:

  • IM194 Media Theory and Campaigning (20 credits)
  • IM218 Digital Communications (20 credits)
  • IM198 Public Affairs (20 credits)
  • Option module (20 credits)
  • IM200 Masters Communication Dissertation (60 credits) or IM201 Masters Communication Project (60 credits)

The fee charged will be the published international fee for four taught modules plus the dissertation.
