Sustainable Energy and Building Technology (31551)

Humber College and Royal Roads University have facilitated the block transfer of graduates from the Sustainable Energy and Building Technology Advanced Diploma program to receive up to 15 additional credits at a 3rd year level towards the Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Practice.

Admission Requirement

Humber graduates with a minimum B (3.00/4.33) GPA may apply for transfer credit and must have met all entrance criteria to the program.

Graduates of the Community and Justice Service Diploma are eligible for admission into the third year of the Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies program at Royal Roads University with full block transfer, provided all other entrance criteria are met and space remains available. 

Terms to complete this pathway:  

  • Blended: Three distance learning terms plus a three and a two week on-campus residency.
  • On-campus: Four terms

Graduates of Humber's International Development Graduate Certificate, with a minimum B (73%) GPA, who have been accepted into Royal Roads University's Master of Arts in Global Leadership (MAGL) can be granted nine (9) elective credits toward their master’s program.

Admission Requirement

To be eligible for transfer credit, students must successfully complete the following Humber courses:

  • BUS 5012: Introduction to Development
  • BUS 5013:  Management Skills for International Development
  • BUS 5014:  Project Design and Planning
  • BUS 5528:  Humanitarian Assistance
  • BUS 5501:  Issues in International Development

The program follows a blended learning model and is offered primarily through online study combined with mandatory on-site residencies.

Graduates of Humber's Hospitality and Tourism Operations Management Graduate Certificate, with a minimum B (73%) GPA, who have been accepted into Royal Roads University's Master of Arts in Tourism Management (MATM) can be granted six (6) elective credits towards their master’s program.  

Admission Requirement

 To be eligible for transfer credit, students must successfully complete the following Humber courses:

  • HTOM 5000:  Principles of Tourism and Hospitality
  • HTOM 5002:  Human Resources Management and Hospitality Law
  • HTOM 5004:  Tourism and Hospitality Operations and Finance
  • HTOM 5007:  Tourism and Hospitality Sales and Marketing
  • HTOM 5501:  Globalization and Sustainable Tourism

The MATM program offers two delivery options a) a 20-month on-campus option or b) a two-year blended learning model that is offered primarily through online study combined with mandatory on-site residencies.

Students who have successfully completed the Journalism Ontario graduate certificate at Humber College and are admitted to Royal Roads University's Master of Arts in Professional Communication will receive transfer credit for PCOM 631 Video Production and Distribution (3 credits).

Humber graduates applying for such transfer credit must have met all entrance criteria to the Master of Arts in Professional Communication and space must remain available in the program.
