More for You

The University of Guelph-Humber offers seven focused programs for transfer applicants—Business, Community Social Services, Early Childhood Studies, Justice Studies, Kinesiology, Media and Communication Studies, and Psychology. Transfer students build on their previous college coursework/diploma to earn a university honours degree. Applicants with specific college diplomas can apply through our College Block Credit Transfer Pathway for a block of transfer credit ranging from 5 to 10 credits. Diplomas approved through these pathways are predetermined to have academic alignment with a UofGH program and have met specific high school subject admission requirements. Applicants from university and college degree and diploma programs can apply as a General Transfer Applicant and will be assessed individually based on their previous education. All applicants receive a Transfer Credit Assessment if and when they receive an offer of admission. Entry into six of our seven programs starts every fall. Kinesiology is the only program that begins in May of each year and does not have a fall entry. Transfer students are attracted to UofGH for it’s close-knit community and transfer scholarships. Our graduates are career-ready for the workforce and further education. The University of Guelph-Humber is a collaboration between the University of Guelph (UofG) and Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning (Humber). All courses are university-level courses, but our unique programs combine academic theory with hands-on practical experience. This allows our graduates to earn both a university honours degree from UofG and a college diploma from Humber. Students attend courses at the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto which is located on Humber’s North campus. We are known for our focused programs with built-in workplace experience and close-knit community.
