Commercial Driver Accreditation for AZ Tractor Trailer

Program Code:
COMDRV_AZ_CC

Get a new career in under a month. If you hold a provincial “AZ” license but do not possess the required skills and knowledge to be employed in today’s trucking industry, then this program will provide the accreditation you need. Graduates of this program will understand how to comply with the regulatory issues related to the industry and will have acquired the necessary driving skills to operate a tractor-trailer in today's heavy traffic environment.

At Humber, you learn from instructors who have years of experience in the field, with modern tractor-trailers. You use the tractor-trailer you learned on for your AZ road test with the Ministry of Transportation.

Transportation companies across the GTA look to Humber as their leading source of potential employees, with many sending current employees to Humber for tractor-trailer training.

Learn everything you need to know about this high-demand employment field, including safety regulations, fuel-efficient driving, traffic and road management, and more.

The Commercial Driver Accreditation program can be taken during the daytime or the evening. The program takes between four to five weeks if taken during the day or seven to eight weeks if scheduled evenings. The length of program is determined by the scheduling choices that each student makes.

The program consists of three main parts:

  1. A “Z” air brake endorsement course scheduled over two days.
  2. A 50-hour in-class component.
  3. Seven three-hour by-appointment driving sessions.

The full fee for the program for the 2017 Spring/Summer Semester is $4,710. Course and program fees may be subject to change.

We want to hear from you. If you have any questions or need more information, contact the Transportation Training Centre at 416-675-6622 ext. 5800 or truck.info@humber.ca and come in for a visit.
