Dear Humber students:
As you are aware, Humber has closed all campuses until further notice, in order to limit the number of people on campus, and to interrupt the chain of COVID-19 transmission in our community. While classes were cancelled this week, we are working to determine how best to support your ability to successfully complete your semester, which resumes online on March 23rd.
We will provide you with the services (many of which are already available online) that you require to support that success and are committed to working hard to meet your personal and academic needs by phone, on-line, and using tools such as Blackboard or Microsoft Teams to maintain a virtual, personal connection.
During this time, please visit www.humber.ca/updates for updates and an FAQ. If you have an existing appointment with one of Humber’s Student Services in the upcoming weeks, you will be contacted directly by that service about next steps. While campus is closed, we expect that most services will be offered remotely rather than in person.
Our aim, as always, is to support your health and well-being. We will adjust our plans and offerings in response to changing conditions and your feedback.
We understand this is a challenging time . If at any time you need immediate personal support or counselling, you can access the Good2Talk Helpline at 1-866-925-5454, or use Therapy Assist Online, which provides online and mobile tools.
