We are committed to continuing to provide many services to support your academic and personal success. We will work to meet your needs via online, phone, and in-person services. You'll also get to use tools such as Blackboard and/or Microsoft Teams to maintain a virtual, personal connection with staff, faculty, and other students.

Our aim, as always, is to support your health and well-being.

We understand this is may be a challenging time.

For mental health and counselling support, you can access the Good2Talk Helpline (domestic students) at 1-866-925-5454, KeepMeSafe Helpline (international students) at 1-844-451-9700, or use Therapy Assist Online, which provides online and mobile tools. Our Peer Wellness Services are also running and our SWAC Health Clinics remain open. Accessible Learning Services

Our team and services in all areas of expertise within SWAC are available through a combination of in-person and remote options. Accounting Centre

The Accounting Centre services are available by using the Live Support link via our website or by email at In addition, the Accounting Centre also provides services using Blackboard Collaborate Ultra webinar room. You can use this service by clicking on the following link:

The Humber Campus Stores are OPEN and offering an online shopping experience as well as in-store shopping to provide students and the Humber community with one-stop convenience.  

As the Winter term is coming to a close, it is time to start thinking about returning the rental textbooks. You can return your rentals to the store or ship using the carrier of your choice at your expense. Include your Name and Patron ID with your rental return. You will receive emails with return instructions before your due date of Friday, April 22nd 2022. All emails list your Patron ID.  

Rental Textbook Return Instructions

Sign into your account using the same email address you provided at the register in-store or entered when you rented online. Note: If you don’t know your password, that’s OK – just click “Forgot Password” to reset. Once you’ve signed in, you will be navigated to the Rentals page to view your Rental Account Information and Rental History. Click “Return all Rentals by Mail” and follow the steps to print your packing slip.  

Print your packing slip and include in your rental shipment. Your packing slip is crucial to include in your box – it identifies you, what you’re returning, and where to send your rentals.

Summer 2022 Course Materials

Students can purchase everything from their course materials to the supplies such as notebooks, paper, writing instruments, calculators, etc. to aid in their studies on or off-campus.  

Order Online for North Campus and for Lakeshore Campus. FREE pick up in-store.  

Options available for course materials: 

• Print: Textbooks (format Hardcover, Softcover, Loose leaf) - these options are dictated by publishers   

• Digital: Either PDF e-book or Adaptive Learning /Homework Management

• Bundles: Two or more textbooks or textbook with Digital card sold as one unit 

We carry rental, digital and used textbook formats to help save you money.  

The Campus Stores carry a wide variety of Humber and University of Guelph-Humber gifts and swag. You can also customize a program sweater (Hoodie or Crewneck). We have 9 colours to choose from, with a minimum order of 12 pieces. Get an additional 20% discount on the order at the time of your purchase. Math & Writing Centres

Online and in-person Writing and Math Support is available to all Humber and University of Guelph-Humber students during our regular hours of operation. Students can book an in-person and/or online tutoring session using our WCOnline booking system. In addition, you will also find support for your research and other courses by visiting our partners in Humber Libraries and Peer Assisted Learning Support (PALS).

Parking and Lockers

Summer 2022 semester parking permits go on sale Thursday, April 21st.

Please note that cash payments for daily parking at North Campus are no longer accepted as of Monday, September 13, 2021. Accepted methods of payment include debit, credit, and contactless mobile wallets such as Apple Pay.

Peer Assisted Learning Support

Our office is open! Drop by our office at WEL 105 (Lakeshore Campus) or LRC 3045 (North Campus), Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you are interested in learning more, please check out our websites below and/or email Staff are monitoring and responding to emails.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

Indigenous Education & Engagement

The Indigenous Education & Engagement Centres at North and Lakeshore campuses have developed expanded online events, resources and student support offerings.

This Fall, IE&E opened a Residence Lounge at the Lakeshore Campus for Indigenous students, similar to the North Campus Wigwamen Lounge. These designated spaces are a home away from home and open 24/7 to all students in Residence.

The Centre is now open from Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for drop-ins. Please email to inquire about space before arriving!

The BASE (Black Academic Success and Engagement)

Financial Wellbeing

Financial Aid

In-person services with Financial Aid at the North and Lakeshore campuses are currently being offered on by appointment only Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students are required to call Financial Aid at 416-675-3111 ext. 4245 to request an appointment.

Mental and Physical Health

Beginning February 17, Humber's Fitness Centre will allow drop-in attendance with protective measures in place. 

Patrons coming to the Fitness Centres are asked to book a session for their approximate time of arrival and present the following items to gain access:

  1. An Ontario enhanced vaccine certificate with a QR code (to be scanned by Athletics staff). Please note the Humber Guardian App will no longer be accepted as proof of vaccination to enter the Fitness Centres. Visit for details on how to acquire the Ontario enhanced vaccine certificate;
  2. A Humber-issued photo ID such as Staff, Residence, or Student card (to be visually verified by Athletics staff);
  3. Your Humber Guardian App that shows the daily self-assessment green QR code (to be visually verified by Athletics staff);
  4. Calendly appointment confirmation (to be visually verified by Athletics staff).

International students who were vaccinated outside of Ontario, can find information about the steps to obtain an Enhanced Vaccine Certificate/ Canadian proof of vaccination from the Government of Canada. Exceptions will be made for international students who do not yet have a provincial QR code.

For all staff and students working off-site and learning online, Humber Athletics will continue to offer its wide range of virtual activities to support overall physical and mental health and wellness.

Live and on-demand fitness classes include strength training, yoga, circuit training, kickboxing and more.

We are also continuing to offer virtual personal trainers to help you achieve your personal best.

The Student Recruitment & Pre-enrolment Advising Services department is offering both email and phone pre-enrolment advising from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students who are interested in pursuing a full-time program at Humber can use the Humber Career Finder to narrow down their choices. The student can then connect directly with a Recruitment Officer who will help them figure out the best program to fit their goals, offer guidance on admission requirements and develop a detailed plan of action for their future.

International Centre and Services

The International Centre is now open, and our hours of operation for Humber North, Humber Lakeshore and the Humber International Graduate School are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Our phone lines are also operational.

While you can come to the International Centre for advice and help, students will not be able to book individual 1-1 in-person appointments for now. We will let you know when this option is available once we have a confirmed date. If you need to speak with someone from the admissions or student advising team, you can request a virtual appointment through the Contact form.

Office of Student Community Standards: Student Connection and Community Care

Student Support and Intervention Coordinators (SSICs) are continuing to meet with students by appointment, most often via phone or online conferencing platforms. To arrange an appointment, please contact 416-675-6622 ext. 2102 or email SSICs work with students and offer ongoing support, guidance, and advocacy by connecting them with supports and services on campus and within the community. They work with students in accessing supports, navigating resources, and various policies and procedures at the College. Their goal is to support a student's overall well-being and academic success.

SSICs also receive disclosures of sexual violence. Through a trauma informed, survivor centric, anti-oppressive lens, they inform survivors on wellness supports, reporting options, mental health supports, etc. Their goal is to ensure survivors feel supported, so that they can focus on their wellness and recovery while remaining successful in their academic pursuits.
