Humber

Pride 2016

Humber will be marching in the Toronto Pride Parade on Sunday July 3rd, 2016 and we want to see you there! LGBTQ+ community members and allies from across Humber are welcome to march with us. With the opening of the LGBTQ+ Resource Centre at the North campus, and plans for Lakeshore underway, we’ve got a lot to celebrate this year!

Participants will receive a Humber “We Are Proud” t-shirt to wear during the Parade, and the chance to tie-dye your pride at one of our t-shirt decorating days! This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community before we all head down to the Church-Wellesley Village for the Parade.

The theme for Pride 2016 is "You Can Sit With Us!" It's all about inclusion and inviting everyone in to celebrate one of the largest Pride celebrations in the world!

Pride Flag Notes

In honour of the massacre in Orlando, in addition to June being Pride Month, we invite you to stop by the Student Life Office (LRC, 2nd floor) and leave a note of support for our LGBTQ+ communities. Visibility is a powerful thing, and so is solidarity.

Pride Flag Raising 2016

Humber Pride Flag raising

Join us on Wednesday, June 29th at 9:00am in front of the LRC at North campus for the official Pride flag raising at Humber. This is a rain or shine event, we will move inside the LRC if needed.
