96.9 Radio Humber presents Band of The Month for September: Towers and Trees.

Hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, our September 2015 Band of the Month is indie-rock group, Towers & Trees. The band began with singer/songwriter Adrian Chalifour collaborating with producer Ben Lubberts. With their EP, Broken Record, the band quickly expanded with the addition of many members. This album was released in September 2012 and was the beginning of the band’s rise to fame. Towers & Tress performed many sold out concerts, being named one of Magmazing Music’s top live moments in 2012. The band is preparing to release their new album, “West Coast".

Humber Campus Services pleased to announce that Jeff Snook has accepted the position of Store Manager, Humber College Bookstore, North Campus in Toronto, Ontario. His first day will be August 31st.

Jeff is joining us from McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario where he was the Course Materials Manager. Aside from managing a team of buyers for over $10M in course materials, he transformed and managed their custom courseware department. Prior to joining McMaster University, Jeff had a successful and distinguished career at McGraw-Hill Ryerson. He held various sales and management positions, including National Channel Manager and most recently as Executive Enterprise Solutions Manager. These positions allowed Jeff to partner with key institutional stakeholders to help in their transformation into the new higher educational space we find ourselves in today. Jeff is well connected to the Canadian campus store marketplace and understands the unique challenges and opportunities facing stores and customers today. I’m confident he will not only continue the strong leadership and success that his predecessor at Humber provided, but will bring new ideas to our Bookstore team that all stores can benefit from.

Jeff is an avid Toronto sports fan and likes to travel and play golf.

Please join us in welcoming Jeff to Humber and wishing him all the best in his new role.
