Invasives and Other Garden Challenges - Free Online Workshop

Join the Etobicoke Master Gardeners (EMG) and the Humber Arboretum online for a free workshop on invasive plants, pathogens, and other concerns in the garden. Learn the definition of an invasive plant and the ecological problems they cause. Discover methods for removing existing invasive plants and preventing new ones from moving in. Explore suitable alternatives such as native plants to support the development of a healthy, diverse ecosystem. Additionally, we will touch on some of the newer pathogens and diseases that infest our gardens.

This workshop is part of the Eco-Garden Community Workshop series hosted by the Etobicoke Master Gardeners and Humber Arboretum throughout the year.

When: Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
