Science Rendezvous 2024

The University of Guelph-Humber hosts its seventh annual Science Rendezvous family festival on May 11, taking STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) out of the lab, enabling the community to experience it and interact with faculty, staff and students. Every year, along with other institutions across the nation, the University of Guelph-Humber opens its doors to the community, and would like to extend the invitation to you.

This free, fun, all-ages event offers 40+ interactive student-led activities that sparks curiosity and inspires STEAM-learning. From an indoor planetarium to an interactive crime scene to various fitness testing activities with kinesiology students to tours of the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation STEAM labs - there's something for everyone!

The event also offers high school students and their families a unique opportunity to meet and engage with several student leaders, staff and faculty, so they can ask questions, share their thoughts and learn how post-secondary students balance their studies, responsibilities, self-care, and be their own self-advocates.
