Faculty Resource
All things Student Success & Engagement (SSE) and more!
Thank you to our Humber and Guelph-Humber Faculty, Student Success and Engagement wanted to express our deep gratitude for all that you do to support our Humber learners. We know that you are often a student’s first resource to accessing additional supports and it’s not easy to stay up-to-date on all the different student supports that Humber has to offer. Below is a resource page created with faculty in mind: the information is easily shareable with your students and aims to give faculty a one-stop-shop place for updated info when needing to help students navigate towards the service that might best suit their needs. Before we dive into the resources, here's a quick message from students from the different faculties.
Thank you to Faculty
SSE Handbook for Faculty
We’ve developed a dedicated Faculty Handbook for Student Success & Engagement to support you in guiding students. This handbook includes up-to-date details about available services, supports, and key contacts, all in one place. You’ll find website links, referral information, and helpful overviews of what each service offers. The resource is refreshed at the start of every term to ensure you have the latest information at your fingertips.
We hope these resources are helpful to you. If you have any questions about the above documents, please reach out to tannaz.barati@humber.ca.
Sip & Chill Mobile Resources Cart
Sip & Chill brings a refreshing twist to student engagement, literally! This mobile cart visits classrooms at North and Lakeshore campuses during class breaks, offering students a complimentary beverage and a chance to connect with campus resources, upcoming events, and giveaways in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
How it works: Faculty members can book the cart to arrive during a scheduled class break. Our team will join the class with drinks and helpful info to support student success.
How to book: Professors can request a visit using the online booking form or QR code. Each class is eligible for one visit per semester.
