We are meeting at Toronto Reference Library at 789 Yonge St, Toronto ON M4W 2G8.

Click here to register for the Dyke March!

Start Time: 12:30PM - 3:30PM

Join the LGBTQ+ Resource Centres for the Dyke March in Toronto as part of Pride Toronto 2024! This empowering event is a celebration of Dyke resilience, strength, and pride. All self-identified Dykes and allies are invited to march together in solidarity and support. Come reclaim our identities, embrace authenticity, and amplify our voices.

The Toronto Dyke March is a political demonstration of critical mass, welcoming all self-identified dykes to create political and visible space. This grassroots event is not a parade. The women and trans people of our dyke community take over the streets of downtown Toronto to celebrate our power, strength, diversity and passion of dyke experiences and identities. We will reflect on our history, celebrate our accomplishments, learn from our past, honour where we've come from and lift voices that have been silenced and forgotten.

Registered participants will receive a LGBTQ+ Resource Centre t-shirt and will be invited to the LGBTQ+ Resource Centre Pride Tye-Dye Party where you have the opportunity to decorate your shirt that you can then wear when marching. Please be sure to indicate your T-shirt size when registering.

Please note that the location indicated on this event will be our meeting location- we will then walk over as a group to the march.

* One final note is a reminder that these are very large public events that are not hosted by Humber College- rather are hosted by Pride Toronto with us attending as participants. There will be Humber LGBTQ+ Resource Centre staff attending these events to help coordinate participants but folks should come to events with all necessary supplies and be aware that there will be extremely large crowds during the events. Such large events come with inherent risks and by singing up for this event you are agreeing to fully accept these risks yourself. During the Events photos will be taken- if you would like to not appear in the photos please notify staff on the day of the event. ***
