I came to Humber to pursue my passion. At an early age, I wanted to work in the world of comedy, but the hardest part about working in such a competition industry is getting your start. Humber was ultimately the best place for me to go.
My instructors all worked in the industry and continue to have strong ties in film, television, theater, improvisation and stand-up comedy. Their experience in the industry and their wealth of knowledge on the craft has been super helpful for me as a student, as I have had the privilege to learn from individuals who constantly challenge me as a writer and a performer.
My classmates at Humber quickly became some of my closest friends in the city. I am originally from Beamsville, Ontario, so moving to Toronto was quiet the change in scenery. This move was made a lot easier after I got the chance to get to know everyone, as you quickly start to make meaningful connections with the other students and enjoy their success. My classmates have made my experience at Humber better than I would have ever imagined and we will continue to support each other outside of the classroom once we graduate.
