Maria - Broadcasting - Radio

Graduating high school and deciding on which post-secondary school to attend was hard, until I learned about Humber. Researching the different colleges to attend, I wanted to ensure that I chose the one with the most hands-on. I had an interest in entering the radio industry and now finishing my program of “Broadcasting - Radio”, I feel satisfied with all the knowledge and skills I have gained. Especially with such a competitive and fast-paced media world, I wanted to ensure to get connected to professionals to understand the job.

Coming to Humber, I was only focused on learning one aspect of announcing but after graduating I have discovered the great number of options I have to work in. I’d never attended a post-secondary, so this was all new to me. The professors made the adjustment exciting and passed on so much knowledge from their experience having actual jobs in the industry. Within the two years, there was a chance to build connections and feel more comfortable graduating. I will be able to take everything I have learned easily take into other parts of media. I entered the program with an interest in radio and now graduating from the program, made full of passion to succeed.
