About:
CBS provides a short-term program that is full of opportunities for you. During your stay at CBS you can select courses from different disciplines to enhance your skills in theory and practice. Acknowledging that working successfully in an international environment requires excellent intercultural soft skills, you will work together with Bachelor and Master students from all over the world. Furthermore, you will get the chance to discover Europe and benefit from a wide range of extracurricular activities!

The city, the people, the culture and the economy – Cologne is a pure experience. Cologne boasts more than 1 million inhabitants, of which 95,000 alone are students.

Courses Available:

  • Sustainable Transformation
    • Restriction Note: students who have taken POLS 2350 or SOCI 1000 cannot take this course. POLS 2350 or SOCI 1000 cannot be taken in the future if you successfully complete the Sustainable Transformation course at CBS.
  • European Politics and Economics

Earn Humber Elective Credit:
Earn transfer credit to satisfy one GNED course (diploma) or lower-level breadth elective (SCC Category) course (degree) from Humber. Must be approved in advance by Humber College.

What is Included in the Program Fee?

  • Welcome Event
  • International Dinner
  • Extracurricular social activities such as: city tour of Cologne, museums, hiking etc.
  • Travel health insurance for the program dates, arranged by Humber
  • Summer tuition fees are waived at Humber and normal tuition will be due for Fall semester

What is Not Included in the Program Fee?

  • Round trip airfare (book your own flights)
  • Accommodation (book your own accommodations)
  • Activity fees and meals outside of those included in the program itinerary.
  • Incidentals, spending money
  • Baggage and trip cancellation insurance, if desired
  • Associated visa costs, if applicable
  • Humber transfer credit fees ($25.00 per course, upon completion)

Accommodation:
CBS will provide you with recommendations and suggestions for accommodations. However, you are not bound to these suggestions and can choose further accommodation options in Cologne. Accommodations can range from can range from €450 - €700.
