This summer study program offers a memorable journey from the North to the Centre of Vietnam, a Southeast Asian country with breathtaking landscapes, rich culture and a fast-growing economy. While Hanoi is one of the most ancient capitals in the world with rich history and a fascinating blend of East and West, Danang is a dynamic city and the driving force for development of the Central-Highlands region, surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage sites: Ancient City of Hoi An, the My Son Holy land and Hue’s Imperial City. Widely known for their up and down history, vivacious life, delectable cuisines, and hospitable people, the two cities will offer an inspiring and fascinating combination of ancient and modern beauty that few others can match.

This exciting itinerary will be filled with classes on campus with NEU/UD and Humber faculty and experiential learning in the afternoon and weekend site visits, field trips and community services guided by faculty and local experts. This complete immersion in a cultural fabric that is an extraordinary mix of modernity and traditions, of native and foreign identities and of regional and ethnic diversity will also enable you to develop your employability skills and build long-lasting friendships with local students.

When you and your Humber faculty return to Toronto, you will reflect upon your experiences, connect with your own culture, and set them within the broader global context.

Earn Humber Elective Credit:
Earn transfer credit to satisfy one GNED course (diploma) or lower-level breadth elective course (degree) from Humber. Must be approved in advance by Humber College.

• Multiple destination airfares (Toronto – Hanoi – Danang – Toronto)
• Airport pickup drop-off off services in Vietnam

What is Not Included in the Program Fee?

• Humber regular course tuition fees (if Humber credits needed)

• Entry visa fees (if applicable)
• Incidentals, spending money
