Black Excellence Orientation: All About the BASE

Tuesday Jan 18, 2:00 - 4:00 PM

Drop in to learn "all about the BASE" and the importance of culturally relevant support, featuring current Humber students who have all had a connection to the BASE. Including a creative performance by spoken word artist, Prince Amoako.

What is Black Excellence Orientation?

Whether you're starting at Humber for the first time or returning to campus life - it can be challenging to know and get comfortable with all the resources available to you. Here at the BASE, we seek to provide students who identify as Black Canadian, Black African, and Black Caribbean (including Black Latinx, Black Indigenous and Black Mixed) with community, resources, and support to help you fully maximize on their campus experience. So, join us on January 17 - 21, 2022 for a series of virtual events that will introduce you to the BASE Program and all that it offers, as well as other campus resources.
