To find a room, you have to understand the code terminology.

Here is an example:

North Campus LXB132

  • L - Building 'L'
  • X - Represents adjacent buildings (LX is adjacent to L bldg.)
  • B -  Indicates it's in the basement. (If there is no 'B', it means it is on the main or upper floors)
  • The first number identifies the floor. In this example, it's on 132 - which is the first floor. If it was '232' it would be the second floor and so on.
  • The remaining numbers indicate the actual room.

If you happen to see a 'GH' in the room number, it stands for University of Guelph-Humber.
