In Canada, Pride Month is celebrated annually in June. It is an important month for the country and for Humber.  

At Humber, we will gather on June 1 for the raising of the Pride and Trans flags as the College celebrates the start of Pride Month. The flag raising is part of Humber’s commitment to supporting 2SLGBTQ+ students, staff, faculty, and the broader community.

President's Message

Today, I have some exciting news to share with the Humber community. We have two leaders moving into new senior roles key to our efforts to make Humber an inclusive and fantastic place to learn and work.

My parents were the first feminists in my life. They encouraged their two daughters to be anything they wanted to be. I celebrate and acknowledge International Women’s Day as a daughter; as a mother of a teenage daughter interested and thriving in STEM education; as a colleague and friend to many women who are trailblazing in their chosen fields; and as a leader appointed as the first woman President of Humber.
