Update on Fall 2021 Plans

As we approach our Spring Open House on April 10, we are providing students with program-level academic information for the fall term, so they are better prepared to make decisions.

This week, we are updating students that the majority of our programs will have in-person components this fall. Details about how programs are expected to be delivered in the fall can be found at the links below. We are still working towards sharing course-level information the week of June 1.

We are also advising students that we are hopeful that we will be able to offer more services and activities on campus in the fall.

I know many of us are missing connecting with students and colleagues in person and wondering what the fall will look like for our teams. Across Humber, departments and teams will begin working on their specific plans for the fall soon. This will include decisions about who will be on campus and which staff members will continue to work remotely, based on their roles. The implementation of our new remote work policy will be specific to the needs of each Faculty or department.

Our plans for the fall are based on some assumptions about the ongoing vaccine rollout and future public health directives. If new or different protocols are put in place by public health or government officials, we will adapt our plans as necessary.

Regardless of your role at Humber, I appreciate that you have been working diligently to make decisions and plans amidst unknown and changing scenarios. Thank you for everything.

We will continue to provide updates to the community and for the latest information, visit www.humber.ca/updates.

Take care and be well,
