At last year’s President's Breakfast, I announced that Humber would soon launch Unlimited, our first-ever comprehensive public fundraising campaign. Now, I’m excited to share that the Campaign has kicked off in full swing.

As you may have seen from the giant banners outside the LRC at North Campus and R Building at Lakeshore, along with recent social media activity and Communique notices, work has now begun to engage potential supporters in this important fundraising effort. Humber College is saddened by the deaths of the passengers aboard the Ukraine International Airlines flight that crashed in Iran, including Ontario college and university students and faculty, and their family members.

Our province’s postsecondary institutions are shaped by teachers and learners who foster global citizenship and bring the world closer together through education and scholarship. This tragic loss is felt by all members of the college community.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to the families, friends and colleagues of the individuals who died in the crash.

I am excited to announce that we will be launching the Humber International Graduate School (IGS) in 2021. The Humber IGS will offer a unique global classroom experience in downtown Toronto and provide international students with career-focused, graduate-level education.

Drawing on our strength in delivering Ontario Graduate Certificates and the growing interest in these programs, the Humber IGS will offer more choice and opportunities for international students while enabling us to continue to meet demand from domestic students.
