Thankful for the entire Humber community

With Thanksgiving this weekend, it is an opportunity to reflect on our lives with gratitude.

I’m thankful for many things – my wonderful, loving and supportive family and what has quickly become my extended Humber family – are most notable.

I consider myself fortunate to have many reasons to be thankful and serving as the President and CEO of this college ranks high among them. I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time at Humber and I am frequently reminded what a privilege it is to hold this position.

So, if you can’t already tell, one of the biggest things I’m thankful for is you, Humber!

I’m thankful for our dedicated faculty and everything they do to ensure our learners are being given the knowledge and skills they need to become career-ready citizens.

As well, I’m thankful for our dedicated support and administrative staff and the work they do to ensure that our faculty and students have everything they require to be successful both in the classroom and beyond.

I’m thankful for our students as the vibrant energy they bring to Humber frequently reminds me just how blessed I am to have spent my career in post-secondary education.

To everyone at Humber – thank you! Thank you for your willingness to go above and beyond to make Humber the leader in polytechnic education that it is. Thank you for your dedication, your commitment and your tireless efforts – you have my utmost appreciation.

Life can get busy. My hope for the Humber community is that it slows down this Thanksgiving as you enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

I know I’m excited about getting to spend time with my loved ones this long weekend. Having a chance to sit down to a great meal and make new memories with friends and family is something I’m looking forward to with great pleasure.

However you celebrate, I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving.
