About me:  I graduated from the BBA program at the University of Guelph-Humber in 2019 and graduated with a Business Management diploma from Humber College in 2016. I am very passionate about community involvement, volunteerism and travelling which led me to my current role at a non-profit organization. I am very analytical and love numbers which led me to enrol in the CPA PEP program to become a future CPA.

Occupation: Education Specialist at Centre for Addiction and Mental Health

About me: Christopher (Chris) Caldwell is an author, speaker, and adult learning specialist. Chris currently works with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health hospital, the Health Equity office, developing learning programs and communications. Chris is also active in community affairs, environmental education and activism. Chris holds a Masters degree in Urban Planning, a Masters degree in Adult Education, diplomas in information technology, business and environment and HVAC technician.

About me: As Sr. Peer Mentor for 3 years at Lakeshore, and then working as Facilitator at North during my last semester, I learned so much that I have been able to apply towards my career so far! I’m now working towards my CHRL designation, developing myself in a wide variety of HR areas. Next, I am looking forward to completing a certificate in Adult Learning & Development at OISE through U of T to add to my skillset.

About me: I am from St. Andrew, Jamaica and moved to Toronto in 2016 to pursue my post-secondary education. About me: Advitee is a Certified Associate in Project Management and Regulatory Affairs Professional. She completed her bachelor's in Pharmacy from India and worked with Tata Consultancy Services for about 2 years in their life sciences division as a Drug Safety Associate. She is an aspirational Project Manager and is passionate about mentoring, counseling, traveling and likes to spend time in polishing her hobby which is dancing and exploring opportunities where she can be of any assistance to the community.

About me: Station Attendant at Air Canada since June 2017. Travel often✈️. What I most enjoyed about FYE was the people. I became a peer mentor thru FYE and then a peer mentor for my program. FYE was also helpful with scholarships and bursaries.

About me: I'm Kate, a 2019 Honours graduate of Humber's Second Entry Nursing program. I am also a previous FYE student mentor. I currently work in family health as a Registered Nurse and am pursuing my Masters degree in Nursing to later enter into academia and clinical instruction.

Program: Advanced Diploma from the Civil Engineering Technology Program (2016)

Occupation: Technical Trainee at the City of Toronto

About me: My name is Manoj Singh and I am of Guyanese background. I am a 2016 graduate from the School of Applied Technology at Humber College where I hold an Advanced Diploma from the Civil Engineering Technology Program. Post-graduation, I proceeded to pursue my Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil which was completed in the year 2018 at Lakehead University. I participated in the 2015-16 Peer Mentoring Program while at Humber College where I made significant contributions towards other Peer Mentors along with Senior Peer Mentors. Currently, I am a Technical Trainee with the City of Toronto on a temporary basis; this is my third work term with the City (started in 2018) and I have gained experiences in their Engineering & Construction and Transportation Services Division. I am also a registered member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) since I am working towards achieving my Professional Engineers Licence

About me: I graduated from the Paralegal Education program in April 2018. I am currently employed as A/Administrative Assistant in the Ring of Fire Secretariat, Ring of Fire Strategic Policy Coordination Branch, Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines. I previously worked with the Ministry of Labour in the Pay Equity Commission as a Program Assistant from May 2018 - July 2019. I wrote my P1 licensing exam in July 2019 (results to be released by October 2019). I continue mentoring in the community for the Yonge Street Mission and I am Chair of the Parent Council at Ecole Melody Village Public School.

About me: I came to Canada as an International Student and Humber was the choice for me.
