Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) “Sunset Ablaze” is a pentaptych inspired by the warm, lively sunsets in the Caribbean where I am originally from. My aim for this piece was to create a striking focal point to adorn an office or learning space. Due to the pandemic, we are constantly on zoom calls and online meetings, so I wanted to create a tropical, uplifting element to distract from and ease the stress of virtual learning.
