The following are the submission guidelines for the Student Art Show. Please carefully read the guidelines before submitting artwork.

• Submissions open Monday February 19, 2024 at 12:01 am.
• Submission close Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
• All current Humber and Guelph-Humber students are eligible to submit artwork.
• Each student can submit a maximum of two art pieces.
• Each submission will receive a confirmation email.
• Artwork must have been created within the last year.
• Files can be uploaded in jpg, jpeg or png format.
• Files may not exceed 1 MB.
• Files must be labeled with the Submission Category-Artwork Title-Artist Name (i.e. Drawing-Into The Wild- Jerome Smith.jpg) before being uploaded.
• Submission images must be cropped to the artwork only. Please ensure that submitted images do not include frames, backgrounds, or objects obscuring the view of the artwork.
• Submissions that do not meet the guidelines will not be accepted.
• Art will be judged by a panel of jurors from the local art community.
• Each category will be awarded prizes in first, second, and third place and may be awarded honourable mention.
• Results will be announced after Monday, March 11, 2024.
• Winners will be contacted via email and will be announced on social media.
• Students that place 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honourable Mention in the Student Art Show will be required to submit their art by Monday, March 18 to go on display in the LRC North Gallery Wednesday March 20, 2024 to Tuesday April 2, 2024. The winning pieces will also be part of the Awards Reception on Monday, April 8 in G Building, Lakeshore. 
• Award winning artwork images may be used to promote the art show in the future.
