From afar, various situations and people's actions can be interpreted in multiple ways.
However, first impressions can be misleading.
When the observer takes the time to analyze what is unfolding new information can be discovered which can alter the narrative into one that closely represents the truth.
For example, a group of people whom appear to be expressing happiness could instead be reacting to something that is not immediately obvious to the viewer; something that may inspire the opposite emotion.
Things are not always are they first appear to be.
