Slave to my thoughts

Original Piece
In our life time, we all become a slave to our thoughts at one point or another. The pandemic gave us ample time to think and reflect, one such moment inspired me to create this artwork. This photograph was clicked at a time when my thoughts kept circling back to how life could have been, had the pandemic not changed my plans. This one photo made me realize the similarity between thoughts and shadows. Thoughts are to an adult what shadows are to a child. A child struggles to gather their shadow, an adult struggles to gather their thoughts. The lesson that this photo taught me was to not commit the mistake of becoming entrapped in this game and to let life take its course. We all have something to be grateful for.
