Art Description (What inspired you to create the artwork?) This piece happened during Canada Day celebrations, as the night was winding down and most of the guests had left and all of the big fireworks had been set off. The BBQ had been eaten, the beer had been drank and the air had a distinct smell of smoke to it. All that was left of the night was leftover food and fireworks, including the one pictured here. As we gathered around to set off the remaining few fireworks and sparklers, this one was lit and I took my final photo for the night. It was the best one.
